Tested by the Schweizerische Weinzeitung in accordance with the “Zürcher Weine Goin’ Downtown 2019” event and awarded excellent marks for our Pinot Noir Chlosterberg 2015 and 2016. Here the grading in detail, published in issue 10, October 2019:

 

Chlosterberg 2016

“Dense, silky, finely mineral, finely complex bouquet, Amarena cherries, candied raspberries, slate, dried herbs. Elegant, densely interwoven palate, delicate structure, fine, fresh fruit, good tannin, strong aromatics, long finely bitter finish. Can still gain.  18/20 2022-2040”

 

Chlosterberg 2015

“Dense, silky, finely complex bouquet, raspberries, damask plums, flint, delicate herbs, raspberry perennials, cinnamon. Balanced, dense, elegant, multi-layered palate, dense, fine fruit, strong, varied aromatics, fine muscular structure, fine tannin, long, powerful finish. Still time to grow. 18/20 2020-2038”
